As a military brat, my family moved on the needs of the country. This led us to Cheyenne, where we fell in love with the State of Wyoming and I spent most of my childhood. We balanced our family's time between education, work, and the community and church.
After graduating from Cheyenne East High, I joined the Air Force at the age of 17. My service carried me to support our bombers in Louisiana; our Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen in the Pacific; defending our northern border in Alaska; and fulfilling our resolve in Afghanistan.
During my time in, I attained a Bachelor's in Management Information Systems from the University of Maryland Global Campus while serving abroad - balancing full-time work and part-time education to earn a degree and care for my family.
I have had the pleasure to see how our great country impacts the world. How we maintain our hegemony. What makes us the superpower.
Represent the people:
1. Restore faith in our institutions through transparency and integrity.
2. Set a budget - square our debts and clamp the debt ceiling down.
3. Defend State's Rights - What works in DC isn't often right for WY.
4. Uphold the Constitution - we must be secure in our lives and liberties.
5. Focus on "small government" - not overreach.
6. Measured Action - Not a chainsaw, but a scalpel.
7. Defend Wyoming jobs and our personal rights.
Beacon on the Hill:
1. Protect our heritage and legacy.
2. Sustain our nation's parks - the American natural jewels.
3. Restore national pride in, and the security of, our Capitol.
4. Set the example to the world of American exceptionalism.
5. Honor our words, our commitments.
6. Where corruption is present in our government, drive it out.
7. Restore faith in our police forces.
Our Nation's Might:
1. Strengthen our military - it is our global reach of our defense.
2. Position our military abroad - our allies further our goals.
3. Rebuke China's threat to our way of life.
4. Support our veterans, our retirees, and our heroes.
5. Stem illegal immigration and illegal employment.
6. Promote American interests and investments globally.
7. Guarantee our position as the World Reserve Currency.
I believe in the military philosophy of Theodore Roosevelt - to "walk softly and carry a big stick" - and that our military might secures our nation.
I am strictly anti-Communist - the philosophy is antithetical to our American way of life and to good, common sense.
I believe that, from my experiences, China poses a grave threat to our status as a superpower. We must vigorously defend our place in the world and rebuke their Communist agenda.
I support our Constitution. It is not a recommendation, but the foundation of our nation. The Federal government must focus on national needs; the Federal government should not encroach on the State's rights.
Our government exists to represent the people. We outlined our foundational values: Life; Liberty; and the Pursuit of Happiness. The government must act to protect the rights of the people.
We must set a solid, no-nonsense budget and protect the taxpayer's dollar from the whims of fanciful indulgences.
I believe that Roosevelt was right when he laid eyes upon Yellowstone and said that it must be "scrupulously preserved" - and that our National Park System is an icon to the world on the American beauty and security.
What works in DC isn't often right for WY.
